Abdul Kalam Trust is drawn inspiration from the remarkable vision and legacy of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the beloved former President of India. Just like the extraordinary man after whom our organization is named, we believe in empowering individuals to rise above their circumstances and create a better future for themselves.
A HOME FOR THE DESTITUTE
We at Abdul Kalam Trust, Ooty visit the slums and identify elderly people provide them necessary support. We make sure they live peacefully and happily by end of their life.

Rescue
Our team visits Bus Stand, Roadside, Slums and Hospitals to identify the old age people who don’t have a place for shelter. We take them to our shelter and provide them with all basic needed facilities. Join us in our mission to eradicate homelessness and provide a dignified future for those who have lost hope.

When our shelter inmates after regaining hope and once become physically & mentally fit, We reunite them with their family members. We firmly believe that every individual deserves a chance to rebuild their lives, regardless of their past circumstances.
Abdul Kalam Trust serves underprivileged senior citizens, Who are struggling in their lives for Food, Shelter and Livelihood. Since they reached an age where their bodies don’t allow them to work and their economic conditions do not allow their families to be able to take care of them either.
